My copy came from the library, but I realize I will have to buy this book at some point...it is a fabulous read. Very succinct, witty, well written....short chapters on personalities, plants and gardens - a perfect gift for the gardener. The more you know about England, perhaps the more you will enjoy it - but that is not necessary. Even some propagating advice.
